The interior is completely chemical free, allowing the timber to breathe and release its natural aroma as it heats. What power does the Swell Cedar Cube 2 need?
The Swell Cedar Cube 2 uses a 4.5kW Harvia The Wall heater in the Base (SW45) and Smart Heat (SW45E with Fenix Wi-Fi) packages, or a 6kW Harvia Spirit SP60E heater with Xenio Wi-Fi in the Pro package. A dedicated single-phase circuit must be installed by a licensed electrician and sized to the selected heater manufacturer’s installation requirements.
Do I need three-phase power?
No. The Cube 2 does not require three-phase power. It is designed so it can be installed in standard Australian homes with the correct dedicated single-phase circuit added by a licensed electrician.
Is the Cube 2 a traditional sauna or infrared sauna?
The Cube 2 is a traditional Finnish-style sauna, not an infrared sauna. It uses a Harvia heater and sauna stones to create full-room heat and steam when water is poured over the stones.
What base or surface does it need?
The sauna simply needs a level, compacted surface. Concrete, pavers, decking or a prepared compacted area can all work well. We recommend avoiding direct placement on grass because grass can hold moisture under the base.
What are the Cube 2 dimensions?
The Cube 2 external dimensions are 136cm width (left to right), 135cm depth (front to back), and 210cm height. Internal dimensions are 122cm width, 121cm depth, and 187cm height from floor to ceiling. The upper bench is 55cm deep, the lower bench is 75cm deep, and the lower bench extends 23cm further forward than the upper bench.
How is the sauna delivered?
The Cube 2 is dispatched from our Melbourne warehouse in a protective crate with cartons packed inside the crate. Once your order is on the way, you will receive tracking details so you can follow the delivery and plan around its arrival.
Can I install the Cube 2 myself?
The Cube 2 is made for DIY setup, with pre cut components and clear, step by step instructions. Most customers can move the cartons and sauna sections from the crate into position and complete the assembly with two people over a few hours. If you would prefer a hands off setup, we have a team available Australia-wide to handle the assembly for an extra cost. Please reach out and we can help arrange it. A licensed electrician is still required to connect the heater.
How hot does it get and how fast does it heat up?
The Base package reaches up to 80°C using the Harvia The Wall SW45 heater with built-in manual controls. Smart Heat (SW45E with Fenix Wi-Fi panel) and Pro (Spirit SP60E with Xenio Wi-Fi panel) reach up to 100°C. Heat-up time varies with the selected package, ambient temperature and installation conditions.
How many people does the Cube 2 fit?
The Swell Cedar Cube 2 is designed for 1–2 people, making it ideal for couples, compact outdoor spaces and private daily recovery at home.
What warranty is included?
