We recommend 5–10°C. It’s cold enough for recovery without being too extreme.
What temperature should I set my hot tub to? +
Most people prefer 37–40°C — warm enough to relax your muscles without overheating.
How long should I stay in the ice bath? +
2 to 3 minutes is great for beginners. After working with AFL teams, their strength and conditioning coaches advise 1 minute per degree for experienced users. If it’s 8 degrees, aim for 8 minutes.
How long should I stay in the hot tub? +
15–20 minutes is ideal. You can go longer if comfortable — just stay hydrated.
Can I use Epsom salts or essential oils in the tub? +
Avoid anything that could damage the chiller or internals. Stick to clean water.
How long does it take to cool the water? +
Our chiller cools water down within 2 to 4 hours depending on conditions.
Do I need to empty the tub after every use? +
No. You can keep the same water for 2 to 3 weeks with our filtration system. If you're using it mainly as a hot tub, the water will get dirtier faster from sweat and body oils.

Wear a towel or gym clothes, whatever makes you feel comfortable.
Is it safe to use the sauna while pregnant? +
Always consult your doctor before using a sauna during pregnancy.
Can I use the sauna multiple times a day? +
Yes. If you're used to heat and stay hydrated, short sessions are safe.
Maintenance
How often should I clean the ice bath or hot tub? +
Every 2 to 3 weeks is ideal. If you're using it mainly as a hot tub, you may need to clean it more often due to sweat and body oils.
What’s the best way to clean the inside of the ice bath and hot tub? +
Wipe it down with clean water and a soft cloth or sponge. Avoid using any chemicals, as they can damage internal parts and void the warranty.
What’s the best way to extend the life of the chiller? +
Keep it shaded, clean filters regularly, and never run it without water in the system.
Can I use tap water or should I use filtered water? +
Tap water is fine. Filtered water may reduce build-up if your area has hard water.
